The 4Saxess saxophone quartet is a modern and classical musical group eager to tackle other genres, such as ethnic, jazz and crossover, in addition to classical and avant-garde compositions. The group is known for its creative cooperation with a range of international composers and arrangers, who are writing new original pieces for the group and many of these works, are featured in the programmes of similar groups across Europe. The group has issued two records with the publishing house of the Slovenian national radio and television. At the concert featuring classical and contemporary music, the group will be joined by Carlo Jans, an experienced flute player, conductor and teacher from Luxembourg, as well as the recipient of a range of prestigious awards, Liza Hawlina Prešiček, an excellent flute player with valuable international experience, and harpsichord player Tomaž Sevšek, a versatile musician mastering an array of keyboard instruments and performing styles from late Renaissance to the vanguard music of the 20th century.
