Musical Youth Nova Gorica

The Nova Gorica Cultural Centre has been working closely with the Union Jeunesses Musicales Slovenia and organising special programmes for children and the young for many years. We prepare concert programmes with the added commentary in order to bring a wide variety of musical periods and genres closer to a young audience, who might come to understand understand and like music, while offering young musicians the opportunity to perform on stage. The quantity of the programmes testifies to the exemplary cooperation between the Nova Gorica Cultural Centre and the local municipalities, as well as the strong support from the headmasters of the local schools and music teachers, who are trying to bring music education closer to the young together with us. The number of concerts organised for the youth puts the Nova Gorica Cultural Centre at the first place in Slovenia.
