In the sixty years of its activity, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra made considerable contributions to shaping the Slovenian musical scene. The orchestra's core activity is studio and live recording for the national archives of music, which are put at the disposal of radio and TV stations. The orchestra boasts a wide and interesting concert repertoire and thus manages to attract a wide audience. Performing an extensive selection of pieces from the treasure chest of the global music of all art periods, to anthologies and maiden performances of Slovenian composers, the Orchestra gained an even wider circle of fans by playing with popular Slovenian rock bands and pop musicians. This time the Orchestra will be performing under the baton of Radovan Vlatković, one of the world's best masters of cor, boasting an enviable list of top performances, awards and a vast teaching experience, leading him to becoming a member of the Royal Society of Music in London.
