ALEKSANDER GADŽIJEV, piano
Large Theatre of Kulturni dom Nova Gorica
Alexander Gadžijev, one of our most promising young piano players had inherited the love for music from both parents: Ingrid Silič and Sijavuš Gadžijev, both influential piano players and teachers. At the age of eight, he began participating in national and international competitions, where he often won the first prize and received excellent reviews. In 2012, at the Premio nazionale delle arti in Trieste, he won the first prize for his exceptional interpreting skills, his mastery of the keyboard and strong strongly expressive communication, as explained in the grounds by the Panel's chairman Prof. Guido Salvetti. During the 2013/14 concert season the award winning young musician gave a series of concerts in Italy and in Paris. He graduated from the State Conservatory in Cesena with top marks, special mention Since late 2013, he has been perfecting his skills at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, in Pavel Gililov's class. We are looking forward to listening to the young piano player, whom the audience in Nova Gorica has been following from his very first performances to his more mature recitals in recent years.
