The fifth season of Castle Harmonies will be opened by Meta Fajdiga, a young and talented pianist, who graduated in 2013 from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the class of prof. Tatjana Ognjanovič. She is currently in her final year of the master's course in piano at the Zurich University of the Arts with prof. Konstantin Scherbakov. There are already various important and renowned performances in Slovenia and Italy on her record. In January 2013 she played as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and received the Academy's Prešern Award for her execution of Liszt's Totentanz for piano and orchestra. She also boasts a series of awards, conquered in national (TEMSIG) or prestigious international competitions. We had the opportunity to listen to the talented piano player eight years ago within the series of concerts entitled Music from the Gardens of Saint Francis and so we are eagerly waiting for her upcoming piano recital.
