WHAT DOES FREEDOM SMELL LIKE, WHAT COLOUR IS PEACE?

During her concert, Lara Jankovič wonders what does freedom smell like and what colour is peace. The answer to her question is provided in two parts: the first one with Slovenian and foreign songs that were composed in times of war and the second one in which she, as an echo, adds those that were brought by peace. These are songs about the absurdity of wars and separation, about the meaning of coexistence and integration: the meaning of freedom and peace. We need them, as pointed out by Lara Jankovič, “especially today, in these strangely turbulent times, when we tend to forget how important peace actually is. In these times when I truly feel more and more unfree: as a bird whose wings had been clipped.”
Lara Jankovič will sing the songs in foreign languages also in their Slovenian translation, as she wants to get their message across to the listeners as clearly as possible. Among others, she will perform the following songs: Počiva jezero v tihoti, Lipa zelenela je, Lili Marlen, Dime donde, Ay Carmela, Libertad, Imagine, Where have all the flowers gone and the Argentinian Si se calla en cantor.
