After a long period of non-appearance, the most renowned Slovenian musician of our time, flute player and professor at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg Irena Grafenauer is returning to Kulturni dom Nova Gorica. She will be performing together with the charismatic clarinet player Mate Bekavac and the leading Italian bassoonist Sergio Azzolini, accompanied by the pianist Rober Levin. We seldom hear four musicians, who weave in their solo skills, professional orientation, and last but no least their different characters in such a sophisticated way into the sound of chamber music and elevate it into the peak of playing music and communication. The interpretations of the classical-romantic programme with Beethoven, Weber and Glinka works exceed everything heard up to now and surpass any labelling.
