If we had to single out one singer who has made the most for the Slovenian contemporary music and has performed all works from the classical repertoire written for her "instrument", this person would be mezzo-soprano Barbara Jernejčič Fürst. The footprints she made on concert and opera stages and on recordings stay imprinted in our memory. During her rich concert history, she has performed the most famous works of the musical treasury, collaborated in classical and contemporary operas in Slovenia and abroad, with ensembles like Klangforum Wien, the Tonkunstler Orchestra and the ORF Symphony Orchestra, and participated at the festivals like Wien Modem, Festival Bregenz, Styriarte etc.
Guitarist Žarko Ignjatović graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, and finished his post-graduate studies at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. Besides performing as soloist at home and abroad, he is also devoted to chamber music. The two musicians, both also committed to teaching, collaborate on a regular basis and together made a tour across the US and Canada.
