The penultimate event of this year's season will offer orchestral music. The well-known Mitteleuropa symphonic orchestra from Friuli Venezia Giulia will perform under the baton of conductor Marco Guidarini. This time, Meta Fajdiga, a young pianist from Ajdovščina, will join them on the big stage.
After studying at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Meta Fajdiga perfected her knowledge in several master classes with renowned pianists. She then continued her studies in the class of a world famous pianist and professor Konstantin Šerbakov at the Zurich Academy of Art where she obtained her second Master's degree just over a year ago, this time specialising in Solo Piano Performance. Her musical journey is marked by impressive achievements. One could even go as far as to say that in the twenty years of deepening into and discovering the world of black and white keys she achieved almost everything a young musician can. Fajdiga also won multiple national and international competitions in France, Russia, Italy, and Switzerland. Listeners and juries are impressed by her mature, vigorous, technically seamless, clear, and deep interpretation. The curtain is about to rise on a magical concert.
