Violinist Nadežda Tokareva, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, settled in Slovenia in 2012. She has won a number of international violin competitions and attracted great attention of the musical world. As a representative of the Russian teaching traditions, she is distinguished by virtuosity, interpretative power, brilliant sound, and ability to fully expose the composer’s spirit and to most clearly present the essence of the composition to the public. The diversity and richness of her repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary composers, from classical to popular music, capture her audiences. Nadežda Tokareva is the author of a number of violin transcriptions and arrangements. She plays a Nicolò Gagliano violin from 1765.
Lovorka Nemeš Dular is a pianist, a professor of piano and she also graduated in Musicology at the University of Ljubljana. She studied piano with Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, with Arbo Valdma at the Academy of Music in Cologne, Konstantin Bogino in Bergamo, and Marina Horak in Ljubljana. She appeared as a soloist, with orchestras, and various chamber groups in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Italy, Germany, and Estonia. In addition to performing, she writes professional articles, conducts musicology research, and teaches piano at the Grosuplje Music School. She mostly performs works from the 19th, 20th, and 21st century.
