The March concert is dedicated to one of the greatest composers of all time. His works are noted for their intellectual depth, technical complexity and artistic beauty. Johann Sebastian Bach's (1685-1750) works will be performed by four instrumentalists, joined by the immense love and respect for music and the Baroque composer. Prominent musicians - oboist Matej Šarc, violinist Tomoko Akasaka, harpsichordist Roberto Loreggianin and cellist Gregor Fele - perform regularly as soloists and chamber musicians in Slovenia and abroad. They will explore six sonatas Bach entitled "Sonata à 2 Clav. e Pedal di J. S. Bach«. The composer wrote them as studies for his eldest son Wilhelm Friedemann (1710–1784) so he could improve his organ playing. Johann Sebastian Bach arranged some movements from the set to be performed by chamber ensembles, and used them in his cantatas as well. One of them was instrumented for oboe d'amore, viola da gamba, harpsichord and cello by Bach himself. This gave the ensemble members the idea of a concert featuring authentic Bach sounds.
