The string quartet Vermilion is made up of four remarkable musicians that met in Ljubljana. The quartet led by the Polish violinist Marika Przybł was established in 2017. These musicians share a love for music and a desire to create together. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of classical music from the early classical, romantic, impressionism periods to the music of the 20th and 21st centuries. They perform music written by great European as well as Slovenian composers. This concert will feature works by Ravel and Schumann, but also a novelty written by the youngest member of the quartet, classical and jazz violist and composer Barbara Grahor Vovk.
