Since the establishment of the ensemble in 2004, Musica Cubicularis has focused primarily on performing early music with period instruments. Their repertoire often includes less known and unpublished works, connected to the territory of today's Slovenia. The ensemble regularly performs in various European countries and collaborates with famous singers and instrumentalists. Since 2018, they have also performed as a permanent ensemble with four or five violas da gamba. Their programme has been dedicated to Isaac Posch – a composer working in Ljubljana, and other musical works from Carniola dating to about 1600.
